Itty Bitty Biscuits-Just Three Ingredients
Itty-Bitty Biscuit Bites.I found this recipe and had to try it. These tiny biscuits are easy to make and are as delicious as they are cute. I see an April Fools for my biscuit loving kids.
8 oz cream cheese softened
2/3 cup of butter softened
1 cup of self rising flour.
In a food processor pulse together all ingredients. Scrap down sides halfway through, about 10-12 pulses.
Scrape out on lightly floured parchment paper and pat into a disc. Put in fridge for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 425 with oven rack in highest rung. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Sprinkle work surface with flour, more than usual they are stickier than most.
Unwrap dough and sprinkle with flour. Coat rolling pin with flour and roll out to 1/2 inch thick. It only take a few rolls.
Cut out biscuits with a 1 inch cutter, dip cutter in flour often to prevent sticking. Either reserve extra dough in fridge or roll and press out more biscuits. Place biscuits 1 inch apart on baking sheet. ( keep residual biscuit dough in fridge till ready to bake)
Bake for 12-14 minutes rotating halfway through. It takes about 13 minutes in my oven.
Brush with melted butter and eat warm( try not to eat them warm, once you start you can’t stop)
