Mamie Taylor Cocktail

Mamie Taylor was a famous opera singer in the late 1800s and this cocktail was created for her in 1899. It resembles a Moscow Mule but the smokey flavor of the Scotch makes this drink a whole other beast. Use a blended Scotch Whiskey and save that single malt for sipping on it own. 

Ingredients 

2 oz blended Scotch Whiskey
1/2 lime, juiced
6 oz ginger ale or ginger beer
1 lime wedge for garnish

Pour the Scotch Whiskey and lime juice into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with ginger ale or ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge. Sip and enjoy!
