Philly Cheesesteaks
Philly Cheese Steaks are one of my favorite sandwiches but way to costly to eat out. Here’s how I make them at home:
1 tbsp Veggie Oil
10 oz -Very Thinly sliced steak( I’ve said it a million times but I’ll say it again, the Asian market hot pot meat is your best friend here)
4 oz Mushrooms sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 tsps garlic, minced
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Soy Sauce
Soft rolls * Cheese whiz if you go that way(I do) * Heat oil in heavy bottomed skillet. Add beef and cook till cooked through and it gets crispy edges. Remove beef and drain on paper towels. To same skillet Add mushrooms and onions until tender and beginning to turn brown. Add bell peppers and cook till soft. Add garlic and cook till soft. Add Worcestershire and soy sauce and combine. Return meat to skillet and thoroughly mix ingredients. Slice rolls and fill with meat mixture. Serve with mayo or Cheese whiz. Or if your a monster like me both.
